In 2018, Bites received an award in sustainability from Arizona State University's Walton School of Sustainability. In 2019, Roza Ferdowsmakan was one of 11 women tech entrepreneurs globally selected by Apple to be part of Apple's inaugural entrepreneur camp at Apple Park. In 2020, Bites was one of 245 social impact solutions selected by Microsoft and Giving Tech Labs to be part of the launch of their first-ever social impact platform, X4Impact, which seeks to solve for the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals. In 2021, Bites was part of Ashoka's annual event for university changemakers, and was presented as a social impact tool that universities can use to transform their campuses into sustainable food ecosystems for the benefit of students. In 2021, Bites was selected by the Rockefeller Foundation, Open IDEO, Second Muse, Food for Thought, and EAT as a scalable, feasible solution toward meeting the United Nation's Sustainable Development Goal of zero hunger, and invited to participate in the Food Systems Game Changers Lab, in connection with the United Nations Food Summit in September 2021. In 2022, Bites received a Sustainable Earth Award from Arizona State University for its sustainability work.
